Was driving on Pacific Coast Hwy in Manhattan Beach on the way to the airport and saw this car that looked like a state vehicle, or official looking vehicle, anyway.  When I read “Quarantine Maintenance” on the back of it, I wondered what the hell that is, and then saw the license plate, and the people in the car… laughed my ass off, thought it was funny as hell.  So I whipped out my iphone and got a couple pics of it.

My bfl’s gf asked “do you like living here?”. I inquired, “do you mean in this house, or in Redondo Beach?” I happen to really enjoy both, but she meant Redondo Beach. I said “yes”, and upon reflection, could put it this way…

it’s a magical way to live. kind of like a constant state of vacationing, except you’ve got your house with you instead of suitcases and a hotel. I really enjoyed living in West LA (Brentwood) when I first came to Los Angeles, also.  I spent a lot of time in Venice Beach, and living there was much the same, though I like Redondo Beach even better as a permanent place to live.
